This Is Not a Government Office. Crane County Warrant Records is privately operated and has no access to official warrant systems. Only the relevant court or agency can confirm status, recall process, set a date, or explain bond requirements.
Where to Ask for Official Records
Choose the office based on the citation, court paper, or agency named in the matter:
- Sheriff-held process or custody question: Crane County Sheriff, 432-558-3571; P.O. Box 1175, Crane, TX 79731. The county page lists the courthouse location at 201 W. 6th Street and fax 432-558-3743. No dedicated warrant desk, public list, or walk-in surrender hours are posted.
- JP citation, FTA, or older court record: Crane County Justice of the Peace, 432-558-1108; jpweb@co.crane.tx.us. The Tyler case search is linked from the official JP portal. Citations filed before December 5, 2022 require a call. The public counter is closed Tuesdays during the dated digitizing project; call before visiting.
- City citation or municipal warrant: Crane Municipal Court, 115 W. 6th Street, 432-558-7747, municipalcourt@crane.texas.gov. Posted hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Police matter or emergency: Crane Police Department, 432-558-2212; 911 for emergencies. Its page says the department is open 24 hours. Routine ticket status belongs with Municipal Court, not the emergency line.
- District or County Court records: combined District Clerk / County Clerk, Andrea Flores, 201 W. 6th Street, Room 110, 432-558-3581, coclerk@co.crane.tx.us. Posted office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; monetary transactions stop earlier.
- County Court office: 201 W. 6th Street, Room 102, 432-558-1100. Ask the County/District Clerk to identify the correct record route.
- City records routing: City Secretary processes open-records requests; City Hall is at 115 W. 8th Street, 432-558-3563, cityhall@crane.texas.gov. A court case request should still go to Municipal Court.
For a written county request, describe the record, date range, issuing office, and case number if known. The County Clerk's recorded-document request form is not a universal criminal-warrant form. Ask the court or records office which process applies and what can be released.
